European Commission - Conglomerates' Conference: The invisibilities' within the most visible

This challenge which was described in various excellent papers
recently released, such as the Joint Forum's paper on the
Differentiated Nature and Scope of Regulations, the US Treasury's
Regulatory Reform White Paper, and the Australian APRA's
consultation paper on Conglomerate Supervision. The conference will
provide an opportunity for the Commission to get input for a clear
agenda about the way forward, as well for eminent speakers from
different backgrounds to express their view as about what should be
done.
The conference will feature a mixture of keynote addresses and panel discussions. It will be divided into three sessions:
The supervisory framework
The industry's perspective
Third countries' pragmatic approaches
