The Launch of the Principles for Positive Impact Finance
Monday 30 January 2017 Visit source websiteDeveloped by a group of bank and investor members of UN Environment Finance Initiative, the Principles are a set of high-level guidelines to promote the development of positive impact business and finance and thereby to contribute to the achievement of sustainable development and in particular the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Principles will provide a common yet flexible framework for the
business and finance community to identify and develop positive
impact activities, entities and projects. The Principles will also
help a broader set of public and private stakeholders identify and
assess Positive Impact Business and Finance – those that contribute
to sustainable development and hence the achievement of the SDGs.
The partners hope the launch of the Principles will constitute the
beginning of a broader involvement of the private sector in
sustainable development.
Join us for this unique event, which will gather approximately 200
