Barnier - Meeting with London-based hedge fund and private equity managers

Michel Barnier underlined two main elements of the AIFM directive :
- The importance to take into account the objectives differences between business models (for example between a Private Equity and a hedge fund)
- the importance to think carefully about the treatment of funds and managers established outside of the European Union.
