Jean-Marc Guiteau is responsible for Compliance, Permanent Control and Operational Risk and is a member of BNP Paribas Securities Services’ Executive Committee. He joined Securities Services in June 2010. He has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, including eight within the BNP Paribas Group, of which four as Deputy Head of the Investment Solutions Compliance. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, he worked 8 years for the French Insurance company MMA, as Group Compliance Officer and Head of Internal Control for the group finance and asset management activities. In the meantime, he has published a survey for the French Internal Auditors’ Association (IFACI) on the Risk management and the Risk Mapping methodology within Insurance Companies. He started his career at HSBC France (formelly Crédit Commercial de France), where he spent 11 years in various functions, successively within the Securities Services as Relationship Manager, Head of organisation for the CIB activities and Head of mission at the General Inspection of the Bank. He is graduate in International Commerce from Paris VI University and has an Executive Master in Business Administration from HEC (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales) – Jouy en Josas, France.
