Mr Cyril ROUX
Cyril Roux, Deputy Governor (Financial Regulation) of the Central Bank of Ireland is responsible for the prudential, consumer protection and markets supervision of Irish banks, insurance companies, investments funds and retails intermediaries. He is an executive member of the Commission (Board) of the Central Bank.
Mr Roux is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Single Supervisory Mechanism and of the General Board of the European Systemic Risk Board. He is a member of both the Management Board and the Board of Supervisors of the European Securities and Markets Authority, as well as being a member of the Board of Supervisors of the European Banking Authority.
Cyril Roux holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University. He is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique (France) and a member of the French Institute of Actuaries.
