Mrs Dorota SIWEK
Dorota Siwek is a policy expert at the European Banking Authority working on the regulatory aspects related to credit risk since February 2014. Prior to that she gained experience both in private sector and in the public administration. At the Polish Financial Supervision Authority in 2007-2008 she was involved in implementation of Basel II and assessments of the IRB Approach in several banks. Between 2008 and 2014 she was an internal auditor in mBank SA in Warsaw (former BRE Bank SA) where she was also involved in the implementation of the IRB Approach. Prior to joining the EBA she was holding a position of a Head of Risk Management and IT Unit in Internal Audit Department. She is a certified internal auditor (CIA, CRMA) and holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Warsaw School of Economics.
