Review

This column was begun in 2015 with the goal of helping the reader of the Revue d’économie financière sort through the vast number of studies in financial economics.

Most often, but not systematically, the REF will highlight academic studies that make it possible to better understand what finance has become today and to shed light on the theoretical research on what it could become tomorrow.

The review will cover the subjects present in each issue, but this general approach will not be exclusive. The REF allows itself to occasionally publish reviews of articles or books felt to be important that take up either very general, or very specific subjects that do not warrant an entire issue. Of course, readers are welcome to suggest subjects that should be mentioned in this column and, in certain cases, to propose their own contributions.
